At my high school, public input and participation stood out as one of my favorite outdoor activities. Coupled with tight competition and intense student discussions on social-political and economic ideas, the notion of building my career around working with the community on legal representations gradually took shape. My highly dedicated professors and the school administration at large encouraged my class to focus and build our careers around people, as people formed the basis of humanity and investment. In particular was my English 101 professor who on many occasions emphasized and encouraged the students to build on our career prospect to help us formulate early professional plans before joining institutions of higher learning. Despite the little drive amongst my fellow students, I took the mantle and challenge to aim higher on my dream of pursuing law as a profession.
