Introduction

Technology has been a critical contributor to advancements in many nations worldwide. It is through technology that human beings can invent machines and come up with the best methods of handling tasks. Technology has also been advancing in very many aspects. For instance, robots have taken a more significant part in many areas of development since they are efficiently programmed to handle tasks in the most accurate ways (Shimon, James, Knight and Gavriel 220). Although humans are the inventors and creators of these machines, they are afraid that the robots are taking up all their jobs. The tasks that humans used to do comfortably and with ease have now being taken up by robots. Most firms are adopting the most recent technologies, and Nike Company should not be left behind. But the question we should ask ourselves is, are the machines the best workforce to adopt than the humans? Therefore, this paper will concentrate on stressing the reasons as to why machines are better than people.

Firstly, Robots possess advanced intelligence than humans. The minds of the robots are digital and way more robust and specific than the minds of people. The human cognitive skills came to be as a result of controls and strains of evolution, and therefore, the human mind cannot be programmed or altered. On the contrary, the robots can be designed to perform tasks with utmost excellence (Sakagami and Yoshiaki 350). The robots are efficiently programmed and possess the artificial intelligence that enables them to perform various functions with accuracy and in the shortest period. The robots are endowed with greater recognition skills and unfailing memory. In instances of operations involving calculations, robots are accurate and function with very high speeds. Therefore, robots are better as compared to humans due to their artificial intelligence.

Secondly, robots can perform an intense amount of labor than humans. Unlike humans who get tired when too much work is assigned to them, the robots are capable of performing exhausting tasks without complains or tiredness. Therefore, in mass production processes, robots are the most efficient laborers. In the major projects of a company that requires much involvement of the workforce, the machines are the best as their performance is of higher quality than humans (Shimon, James, Knight and Gavriel 220). Since robots are not susceptible to fatigue, they can engage in tasks requiring a lot of energy and concentration and still deliver the best quality results. Therefore, when the company is considering the best handlers of an intense and massive task, robots are the best.

Thirdly, robots perform their work with more precision than people. By nature, robots are programmed using the most efficient technologies that enable them to engage consistently in the tasks assigned to them. When a robot is manufactured with no human error in place, it can handle the jobs assigned to it effectively and with accuracy. In instances like production involving specific amounts and level of raw materials, robots can perform such operations with exactness by measuring and mixing the components of a product with precision (Weng and Juyang 559). However, humans are susceptible to unexpected changes in moods and can be swayed emotionally during work which may affect their concentration, accuracy, and productivity. As a result, people become more erroneous when they lose focus. Unlike humans who mainly make errors during different tasks, robots are exact and accurate in performance. Therefore, machines are more specific, accurate and reliable which makes them better than people.

Moreover, robots are capable of operating in hazardous areas. Robots can be assigned tasks in the regions that pose toxic environment to humans as they are immune to vulnerabilities. When humans are exposed to extreme and dangerous conditions, their health is jeopardized, and those conditions can even cause death if not controlled. For instance in operations that involve hazardous chemicals in production or constant accidents, humans cannot be able to perform well as they are prone to illnesses. However, robots can work under any conditions without malfunctioning and in case of an accident causing severe injuries robots can be replaced but humans cannot (Sakagami and Yoshiaki 350). Therefore, if a company is considering setting up operations with many risking activities, robots are the best performers than people.

Furthermore, robots can engage in repetitive tasks better than humans. In most companies, most activities involve repetition where in some cases workers engage in the same procedure of doing tasks every day. In tasks involving repetition, humans develop boredom after a certain amount of time since their work becomes monotonous. When such a case occur the productivity of workers may deteriorate since they get tired of doing the same thing over and over again. However, robots are do not experience boredom, and therefore they can perform the same tasks over and over again, and their productivity remains excellent (Kamali, Colin, Moodie and Gavriel 436). When the machines are assigned with tasks that humans consider monotonous, the growth of the company will be enhanced since the robots can work non-stop on such tasks every day. Therefore, robots are better than humans.

Conclusion

Technology has resulted in different advancements all over the world. People have been able to come up with different technological inventions that help in making work easier in various sectors. Through technology, humans have been able to manufacture robots which they design and program in ways that aid them to perform tasks excellently. Although machines are the inventions of humans, people have been raising concerns regarding machines replacing their responsibilities and tasks in society. As a result, some people think that they can perform various tasks better than robots and therefore robots should not replace them. However, robots are far much better in performance than people due to various reasons. Firstly, the robots possess artificial intelligence that enables them to perform tasks better than people. Secondly, machines are more precise than humans, and they give accurate results during different operations. Also, robots are immune to dangerous conditions and can be replaced if serious damages occur. Therefore, it is with no doubt the robots perform better than people.
