This phenomenon can be evidenced can be evidenced through the actions of sports participants from different societies as they support their favorite teams. For example, Brazil has been a major soccer-playing nation over the years, and the Brazilian national team has participated in the soccer World Cup competitions on several occasions. As such, other nations from around the world have often found themselves supporting Brazils national team during its finals.
Additionally, to mark their support, such international fans often adopt the Brazilian national colors, verbal phrases, and slogans among others. Moreover, some international soccer enthusiasts adopt the dressing code of their favorite Brazilian players to mark their support for the nations team. All such adopted phenomena greatly influence the cultures of different nations from around the world. As such, it is plausible to state that different sports unify different cultures through sporting entertainments.

Participation in sports has also influenced the cultures of different persons in various parts of the world. This has been facilitated by the cultural interactions of people from different backgrounds, who have a common objective of participating in sporting competitions. For this reason, the cultural interaction of people can be characterized to be a complex process through which persons from diverse intercultural backgrounds interact with each other. Additionally, on this logic, the sports and sporting activities can be stated to be the complex process that brings populace from diverse cultures together.
Moreover, through the complex process of cultural interaction, sports have provided a platform through which the global communities can interact. Furthermore, sports have become a symbol of community identity, where they serve as the focal point of interaction, engagement, pride as well as achievement.
