Introduction
Historians advance their historical information by studying and assessing proof that has made it to the current day. Oral evidence can become a main source and it can take the sources of books, paintings, court documents, memoirs and maps. Any questions rely heavily upon oral information that's been passed down in the past. Their questions of the fragments of history is what's took history and it is what is given to the next generations to come.
Public history does not undermine historical scholarship. This is because the project Jukebox provides a platform to access histories in formats commonly convenient for the public (Elmer, 2019, pg1). This serves to complement the academia. The use of technology actually makes it even easier for the access of the historical scholarships. Since it does not therefore undermine historical scholarships, the approaches to the past should be used as dimensions of a common historical culture. The use technology will store it for the academia and avail it to the public.
The Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Project link provides various perspective on the oil spillage according to the EVOS resources. Some of these perspectives include emergency center recordings, clean up support for the oil spills, oil spill response, damage assessments and the impact of the oil spills from to the environment. This perspective came from the federal government, universities, the private sector and the public in general.
Besides oral history, Project Jukebox also presents information on innovative solutions to preserve and access problems. This aims at ensuring that the rights of the donors of the information are respected and restrictions on the collections are observed (Lake, 2019, pg25). It also discusses the future of Jukebox since it uses technology in making the past available and presenting it to the future generations. This thus will serve to preserve the past and at the same time, keep information that will be essential for future generations.
There are various research projects that can be built off the Jukebox project site. These include audios, written materials, and photographs (Holba & Hellen, 2019, pg2). The first one is research on written materials especially books. This will involve all kinds of literature from novels, bibliographies, autobiographies, journals and other kinds of written material. The second research project will be on photographic records and art designs. These mostly will include drawn art that represents a particular information. Other research projects than can be done include audio records. This entails audios such as speeches, music, spoken poetry, and spoken words. All these research projects will be kept in the jukebox site for reference to the past and the future generations.
Daniel Tosh host a series of commodities in a show where he brings different people mostly comedians. The show involves advice to the people on how to develop their comedies, song and other audio related items. This applies to this project in that the storage of the audios of these people will be available for the future generations to reference and that it will keep a record of the current happenings.
