Use of Styles
The style is a way in which the writer writes or a technique an author uses in his techniques. The style may vary from one writer to another writer upon one's syntax as illustrated by Fahrenheit 451.The novel clearly shows the concerns of the time. There are various kinds of styles the author have used to pass his information using the techniques. These methods include argument, description, persuasive and narrative style(Arnorld and David 43). The purpose of this research paper is to identify, illustrate and analyze the use of style, tone as well as language in the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
The argumentative style is a way in which the writing subjected into a certain topic. The writer in Fahrenheit argues on how the temperatures rise to the extent of burning paper. The author is expected to give his or her opinion this matter according to how he sees it. Here the author leaves his opinion depending on how he takes or values thingsdescribing that the combustion process. The description is the second style where the writer focuses on describing an event, character or a particular place in full details. Fahrenheit describes the burning issues in the United States vividly during the McCarthy era. Mostly the narrative style is poetic as it aims at describing what is going on in place and giving all the sensory details about the description. Persuasive style always points at writers believing in a particular point of view by giving reasons and at the same time trying to justify those reasons. There is the vivid description of the life Montag faces with his wife. The narrative style is the final method which includes narration of stories. The senior woman chooses to burn herself alive together with the books. It includes short stories, novels, and biographies as well. The biography of Montag and his wife is well narrated. One is expected to tell a whole incidence and explain why the story is relevant to the audience. Styles have different functions in grammar. It is the same in Fahrenheit as the writer express the future of American community. Different authors use different literal styles which include words, sounds, logic and at the same time in their sentence structures. Their choice is expected to leave a niche in their literature work. The author Ray Bradbury applies this very well shown by arranging his ideas in a way the reader can follow step by step.
Styles and Word Structures
Styles have significance in any novel. A technique is used to directly express the message to the reader and also display the personality of a writer. The novel Fahrenheit reveals its relevance by relating the story of the burnt woman to an apathetic Mildred. In this way, the skills, ability, and knowledge of the writer is well displayed here. For any useful sentence, the writer should always avoid irrelevancy, rely on active voice and make style assertions as well. An authors style will always make it unique as in the 2003 study on writing styles(Wolska 17).Word choice, fluency, and writers voice as well are the most important in the style since they contribute to the final writing. Once the government announced the burning of books people did it with a lot of happiness. This was targeted to please the public. The style will always depend on the audience one is targeting. Many authors can produce the same piece of work but what makes it different is the kind of style one uses. Styles have three distinct elements which are very crucial in any novel. These include the word choice, voice, and word fluency as well. In the novel the author selectively uses the word that will pass his idea in a way everyone understands for example in the sieve and the sand. A good writer will always be precise and conscience on the types of a word he chooses. The exact word conveys a meaning that is well understood by the reader. Correct terms include a use of the concrete noun, active verbs, and specific adjectives. It will always help the reader visualize on his sentence and makes it easy to understand. The writer has rarely used adverbs but sparingly used articles. The nouns and verbs are left to cover most of his work. A good writer will always choose words that will contribute to the flow of the sentence, and this brings sense to the novel. The author has explained incidence after another bringing insight to the novel. The writer has also used polysyllabic words and alliteration as well will help create the roll of tongue in a sentence. Sentence fluency will as well contribute a lot to the style of the novel. There is good flow sentences stem from the very start of the novel Fahrenheit. It has included the flow and rhythm of phrases and sentences as well. The writer has used the different type of sentences with different lengths. Different rhythms as well create different effects on your sentences. Use of parallel structures within the sentence will reflect parallel ideas which will also apply to various paragraphs (David and Arnold 1975). The writer should also learn how to avoid monotony by varying their sentence structures. Fahrenheit has different modes of starting his sentences avoiding boredom. For any significant effect, a writer should be able to arrange ideas well. For the style to be complete, there is need to avoid word dump and this is why writers are recommended to revise their work to see that the methods are full and satisfying. There is also need to make vague words more accurate. To get a great effect there is need to rearrange phrases and clauses to convey their ideas.
In styles voice too is important. The voice in Fahrenheit keeps on changing depending on the incidence. The voice at times is difficult to measure reliably yet its an essential element of style (Linguistic Volume 23) .Writers voice can be chatty, reflective, serious, personate or authoritative. The leader in this novel mostly uses authoritative tone l. Voice will as well carry the weight of any novel, and this will help the reader to understand better.

Tone can is expressed through the choice of words or the writer's viewpoint. Every piece work or novel contains a central theme or subject matter. The tone can be formal, informal, serious, comic sarcastic, sad and cheerful. The main work of a sound is to create a certain feeling to the reader. The tone in music novels is used to represent attitude and feelings of a speaker, or the narrator has towards the main subject.
Authors set a tone that will convey emotions and feelings through words. We see a sad tone where the professor is regretting of his failure to guard the books against fire. Syntax will at times show authors attitude towards the subject. Diction also helps in giving a mental picture of what is taking place. It will simply verify that tone is well expressed through language which is the choice and use of words and phrases as well. The syntax is the process how you put words together and phrases as well which is the level of formality. Can one get the correct tone? This can only be achieved by putting three essential factors to use which are the reason for writing the novel, the intended audience, and what do I want the reader to learn, understand or think about it. For any formal writing, the tone should always be confident, clear and precise. Fahrenheit had a real purpose of the novel of describing the world that might evolve.
