Deloitte provides a good work environment by enabling its employees to meet and work with many client companies. The benefits and compensation are also good. Hence, they help to keep the employees motivated. There are many chances to train and develop in the dynamic job market when working with Deloitte. Besides, the flight, travel, and hotel allowances make the work environment friendly. The employees experience new challenges due to the availability of different projects reducing the chances of boredom. However, the environment also faces some challenges like the inadequate expert agency in cases of low sales. Working here implies poor work-life balance as employees are required to work long hours to meet deadlines. It also faces the challenge of bureaucracy as the top management needs to be consulted on every issue.
The role of accountants in Deloitte
Accountants in Deloitte are the leaders in any work involving a client. They outline the processes and procedures to be followed. They ensure that the general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, and cash management is well configured. Also, they are involved in the completion, modification, processing of data, and designing the financial reports. Customer assistance involving an explanation of their concerns and helping in financial reporting is also done by the accountants. Additionally, they are charged with the need to accomplish the annual and monthly utilization and billable goals (Baxter, 2013). Lastly, they compile and forward the required project reports and metrics. For example, updates on projects, and a list of issues to be handled.

The graduates also assist the senior accountants in formulating the annual and monthly closings (Baxter, 2013). Lastly, they assist with other accounting tasks carried out by the senior accountants.

A critique of my skills and attributes in alignment to those required to work at Deloitte
The skills I have that can enable me to work at Deloitte include knowledge in mathematics, accounting, economics, law, computer, and human resources. Moreover, I am good at managing time efficiently, listening keenly for comprehension, and asking questions where misunderstandings exist (Baxter, 2013). However, the problems I have are inefficiency in critical thinking, poor at writing to document all the transactions, and reading through each document to gain a proper understanding.
Strategy to improve the weaknesses in my skills to meet the requirements of Deloitte
Since am poor at critical thinking, documenting, and reading through documents, I can attend some training sessions to learn their significance and how to apply them at work. Similarly, I can interact with other accountants who have been in the industry for long, and ask them on ways to improve on my inefficient skills.
