Introduction
In the contemporary rapidly growing business world, work-life balance at the workplace is a significant issue facing nearly all the managers and the CEOs across the globe, continually implementing the most excellent ways to resolve it. Ideally, upholding a noble work-life is central for all professionals and majority of research from a massive amount of research reveals that work-life balance is vital in ensuring a healthy lifestyle from both the perspectives of an employee as well as an employer (Haar, Russo, Sune & Ollier-Malaterre,2014). The chief aim of this paper is thus to offer a critical overview of the different ways of attaining a strong work-life balance as well as the benefits associated with it both from the employers and employees perspectives. A better work-life balance is important in helping both the workers and the business owners in minimizing the additional stress associated with the life's fluidity enormous demand of flexibility at work and also in personal activities.
Notably, work-life balance efficiently illustrates the affiliation between someone's work and other commitments in their lives including studies, participating in recreation, sports and volunteering as well as how they impact on each other. One crucial strategy that would help in achieving a healthy work-life balance is promoting health initiatives. Typically, prioritizing health is a critical part of work-life balance mainly because most of the employees are engaged in long and frequent commutes and working for long hours, which in turn makes them sacrifice their fitness and health (Mental Health America.pdf). Employers can however substantially assist their workers in achieving healthy lifestyles and also promote their work-life balance by providing a discount gym and company sports club teams that are affordable and convenient to the employees. Setting individual goals and turning them into measurable and concrete objectives is another substantial way of maintaining an excellent work-life balance. This may include scheduling time for every activity just like it would be for a crucial physician's appointment or a meeting.
Effectively establishing boundaries by setting limits involving what to undertake and not to do at work and home is also a significant way of accomplishing a healthy work-life balance. Communicating these boundaries clearly and in advance to the family members, co-workers and supervisor is also relevant to let them understand on which days one is likely to work till late hours or go home early (Haar et al., 2014). Getting support from your support system comprising of family and friends is also essential in accomplishing success both at home and work and even improving your health (Mental Health America.pdf). In essence, the employees with reliable and competent support systems have high chances of developing aggressive immune responses to stress or illness that comes along with work-life balance. Lastly, remaining active often as well as actively utilizing the company's employee assistance programs that are made available at the workplace by the employers can also help in achieving an excellent work-life balance (Mental Health America.pdf). Many company's offer adequate resources via these programs that assist in saving precious time by providing the employees with guidance on important issues like where to get the best of services such as mental healthcare, elderly parents, and daycare centres.

In conclusion, availability of effective alternatives concerning how work is organized makes it significantly more comfortable and possible to manage the demands arising from work and life by primarily helping the workers work in particular non-traditional patterns and positions that do not at any point interfere with their commitments. As a result, the quality of life is hugely improved as the organizations enormously benefit from the worker's enhanced morale and determination.
