In the interpersonal skills, I hold an effective working relationship with people from diverse backgrounds. As an entrepreneur, I have to be very insightful about the behavior of others. This helps in understanding motives and actions, quickly identifies strained relationships as well as be attuned to both verbal and nonverbal behaviors. With strong initiative spirit, I can work even harder. In some task, one can work independently to achieve task mastery without concern of the extra effort necessary to do so (Mitchelmore and Rowley, 2010; 104). For this reason, I can set strong initiatives which follow specific time bound and challenging goals.
In such occasion, confidence helps to perform well and enjoy seeking out novel opportunities.
Another important feature is an ambition that motivates persistence and perseveres even in the face of difficult challenges. This goes with patience being passionate and positive driven. In such case, one can embrace new challenges while striving to exceed set expectations and standards. Being in a group also calls for flexibility and adaptability. Entrepreneurs who are highly flexible and adaptable often deal very well with ambiguity and have a unique ability to choose actions even without all necessary information. This means that as a team player, one has to be innovative and creative so as to develop a workable solution to complex problems (Littunen, 2000; 297). The other factor is to take risks. By employing the right skills, one can develop alternative plans and articulate the worst-case scenarios. One should also be ready to learn by pursuing opportunities to acquire new skills and expertise.
A personal Reflection
In terms of effort and sense of responsibility, my score was between 11 and 24. These entrepreneurial qualities related to effort and sense of responsibility are aspects of personality that can be improved. I do possess several entrepreneurial qualities related to effort and sense of responsibility. When applied effectively, they can be used to see projects through to completion. This means that when I work on an assignment or project, I tackle unpleasant tasks with a positive attitude (Bandura, 2000). I put my work into perspective, set personal goals that would enable me to attain, and invest the effort required to achieve results that others will be satisfied with. It is possible to establish a work method, break down a task into steps and anticipate the satisfaction of a job well done after investing more in my work.
This means that I can commit to a project or assignment by evaluating the amount of work involved. This allows me to see the project through to the end. By committing and finishing a project brings great satisfaction and allows others to recognize my ability
to complete tasks for which I am responsible. I have several entrepreneurial qualities
related to perseverance and determination-qualities that would enable me to carry out
Projects efficiently. When carrying out a long-term project or assignment, I tend to work consistently from beginning to end. Obstacles and unpleasant tasks do not discourage me, but instead, I see them as a necessary evil, as they allow you me to meet my goals (Baum and Locke, 2004, 587). Hard work is not a source of intimidation to me. Instead, when necessary, I do not hesitate to put in the time and energy required. I always have a generally clear goal, and I am ready to do everything in my power to attain it. I try to be disciplined and organized while my agenda is a valuable tool for me.
