Over the years researchers have been examining if our sexuality differs and deviate along the growth line of our behavior and socialization since childhood? Indeed, that a considerable controversy that needs to be explored in depth to eliminate confusion and illuminate the truth. Heterosexuality is normal in the society. However, some of the unique sexual behavior and character possessed by some people in the society leaves questions in our minds. Heterosexuals do not engage in discussion on the matter of causatives of the other polarity, but they just conclude it as a norm and cultural erosion. The misunderstanding about the sexuality in the society is due to an existence of homosexuality. That is, there exist much information about those who practices homosexuality to produces reasons for their safety against shame and a claim of right. However, even if the reasons seems convincing, they can still be challenged and proven wrong eventually.

First, sexuality molds up typically in an individual as social and psychological growth continues to adulthood. According to the case by Messner, the author grew up initially admiring his colleague Timmy (Messner, 1992: 229). Eventually, he does not come in good terms with him as they grow up in the athletic team as basketball players. The author indicates although they grow as friends initially, there is a natural segregation on the matter of sex pertaining the masculinity. The author also gangs against his colleague Timmy to impeach him (Messner, 1992:229). That explains how sexual normality or being heterosexual come about along the growth life besides an initial misunderstanding in the early stage of life. That means the changes come out naturally and the act of normality result later in life. During the initial stages of life, one may not have enough knowledge on some matters pertaining sexuality. However, upon being enlightened, self-realization and interpersonal dynamics can lead to normality eventually.

Second, the normality of sexuality seems comfortable, and manageable in life. Most of the people handle heterosexuality as normal in life. However, the minority who engage in the same sex sees themselves abnormal (Messner, 1992:230). Normally the same sex individuals would not like to be referred to as deviants. According to the case study about Tom Waddell, surely does he knows about his sexual identity, but he hardly wants to reveal the status publicly (Messner, 1992:230). Tom Waddell even mimics the normality of the society just for the sake to hide his reality. That shows he neither feels uncomfortable within the society. The hind-outs indicates homosexuality despite being referred to as a behavior acquired along with one's life is viewed as the deviation from the norm in the society.

Third, the activities such as athletics remain some of the identified institutions through which sexuality builds in men. According to the case study by Messner, the athletics and dances refer to activities that can apparently bring out the sexuality identification (Messner, 1992: 230). The athletic is one of the recognizable fields through which sexuality in men develops. An act to show-off with a capability is a behavior manifested in males and hence feel a sense of recognition which seems normal. Contrary to that, Waddell's case seems different in that, he likes to dance, and that is considered weird act among men in the society. That even repels him away from his hobby and career (Messner, 1992:230). That tortures him psychologically and begins to hide trying to do what embraced by the majority in the society. Wadell does not manifest the real of himself to be understood clearly.

Lack of explicit definition about heterosexuality formerly led to emergence of the misunderstanding after emergence of the homosexuality. During early times, there existed even no word that can refer to those who practiced homosexuality. It is after the invention and definition of the word homosexual according to Zevallos that, Queen Victoria orders the physicians to search about the behavior. Queen Victoria seems not pleased about it, and that is when a counter-position came in for homosexual' as heterosexual.' Homosexuality looked like a disease to cure as early as the eighteenth century after which it was outlawed later mostly in white settings (Zevallos, n.d para 5). Due to ignorance and failure to set boundaries, the behavior has spread enormously to the point of great concern to many. It might be because homosexuality bothers an individual, and does not violate another person's right or comfort that it has taken foundation in the society.

The sexual orientation is more of natural than of socialization construction. According to the study conducted over 19300 Australians indicated about 97% of them exhibited heterosexuality, whereas the rest practice homosexuality. To the same figure, 7% to male and 13% towards female once became attracted to a partner of the same sex women being in a greater influence than male later in life. (Zevallos, n.d para.9). That indicates the larger percentage of people act normal whereas a lesser number is most likely controlled through socialization and their individual decision much later in life.

The deviation from the norm requires not to be encouraged. Being a heterosexual is taken as normal, and it is an agenda not to be talked about or discussed. According to some people, it is due to the existence of an adoption of deviation that makes society start analyzing the cause of the abnormality. I do not see the need of much rise of the controversy, but in most cases, we just follow the culture. No one would be pleased to see his children drowning in the same misunderstanding of deviation. In Rochlins questionnaire, number nine also reflects the same that after all children would face a problem with adopting the homosexuality behavior (Rochlin, 1972 pg.1). From Egan's discussion, it is evident from the early times, a lot of vigilance is necessary to children from their caretakers and even doctors. They could be made to realize themselves naturally after a very careful self-examination and self-realization (Egan, 2014.para 6). That enabled buying more time to build up sexuality normally and according to the culture without deviation.

If sexuality were standard regardless whether heterosexuality or homosexuality, it would not be an issue for debate. That is because there is something queer that has implanted itself in the society that is already taking the roots. Bindels discussion also starts asking the same question about it, why does it matter how or why we are lesbian or gay' (Bindel, 2014, para.1). The issue, therefore, becomes more of the topic of concern day by day about the misunderstanding. Does it mean an increase in homosexuality at an alarming rate reflect a higher domination of the genetic make-up for the behavior than a social construct? The rise of excuses would never cease unless a clear stake and defined path are put forward to differentiate the truth from emerging assumptions.

More often, cultural norm always stands out clearly while deviation from it separates as day and night. An increase in homosexuality means there has been a huge drift of fulfillment of sexual desires no matter which way to take it. Bindel argument stands out clearly that, if there could be a genetic make-up evidence about the homosexuality act, then the issue would have left us with no doubt it is biological. The unproven argument about the cause of the queer adoption is also evidenced in even new publication nowadays about homosexuality, witnessing it as a choice but not natural (Egan, 2014, para 5). That indicates there is no valid reason for involvement in homosexuality.

Some psychological notion of sexuality built by socialization could be wrong. From the Freud's argument sexuality mostly in women is developed and built upon mere observation and comparison from the male gender. Freud says libido in male expresses as a masculinity force whereas in a female is absent personally and sexually. His notion that, great envy in small girls for the different sex genital organ just due to it being absent in them brings invalidity (Foucault, 2013, para. 6). That cannot bring complete convincement and satisfaction that sexuality in women builds under such psychological phenomenon.

Lastly, could it be that education has taken part in the existence of the deviation? According to Zevallos explanation, most of the heterosexual people who have reached a tertiary level in education are most likely to be attracted to the same sex and tends to experience different sexualities (Zevallos, n.d, para 12). Also, education can lead to curiosity, thereby leading into experimentation of some of these acts. Therefore, if sex construction can be built upon being attracted, curiosity, or even experimentation, then we cannot miss such activities in our society. Indeed, we engage in some sexual acts only to have a feeling of what it takes.

In conclusion, sexual orientation has remained a confusion still with neither definite stand nor understanding. The diverging explanations about the context of sexuality have greatly poisoned the reality and truth. In fact, all the reasons no matter how convincing they are they can be nullified and rectified. For instance, athletics and dances cannot remain the only institution where sexuality in men can build through. Dancing as a hobby or as a career do not reflect engaging in homosexuality, but the lack of precise definition of sexuality has led to some misunderstanding. Sexuality has resulted into ignorance since it does not violate other peoples rights and has no clear boundaries to prevent some of these occurrences. It is, therefore, advisable to educate and direct young children in the right direction so that none will fall into the same trap. They need to know what culture requires of them according to norms.

According to Foucault, it is invalid to state that, psychology can be a path for the build-up of sexuality mostly in women. In such a case, that is just a mere observation on behavior in the gender context and cannot connect with sexual development in women. Moreover, being opposite sex does not mean an absence of an organ in the other especially in instances where young girls compare themselves with boys. For these reasons, confusing excuses will never cease from those who want to brush off the social stigmatization and cleanse themselves from what they embrace daily. There is no justification in a wrong thing, and there must be a universal rule acceptable or to be adhered to in the society.
