An integrated health system is a health information system that its primary focus is providing relevant medical and health data to all the parties or rather stakeholders in the preventive and treatment plans. The systems help collects relevant data of the patient and his family from a tender age of infancy. This helps in detecting any probabilities of inheriting the condition being addressed as well as enabling early detection and intervention of the same. The following essay tries to evaluate the functions, effects, and advantages that the integrated health system has on Joey's life, a schizophrenia patient.

The integrated health system that Joey used from his tender age comprised of different entities. These entities are strategically set up to provide the necessary testing, support, preventive treatment as well as active treatment. The decision to which mode of action to pick squarely relies on the data fed by each of the stakeholder involved in Joey's treatment.
