Additionally, for some of the prisoners, inadequate medical attention makes a minor sentence result in death although it may have been prevented if the prisoner had access to extended medical care. Failure to offer the prisoners with adequate health care do lead to tragedy, and this is against the constitution of the United States (Gostin et al., 2007). The prisoners should have access to extended medical attention to prevent the prevention of the spread of some of the diseases while in prison.

The correctional facilities should offer medical care services to the individuals who are incarcerated. The U.S prisoners should be provided with extended medical attention available. The fact that of all the prisoners are non-involvement in drug cases means that they should be given rights to healthcare. The reason is that they are just like the other citizens. Thus, they should be provided with extended medical care such that after they are sentenced, they go back to the normal life (Mechanic, 2014). If they are not given prolonged medical care, they may not interact with the other individuals freely due to their health. They should not be treated as outsiders because they will come back to the community after completing their sentence period.

Prisoners should get extended healthcare just like the rest of the people. Prolonged healthcare is necessary because it will ensure that the prisoners are healthy even when they are in prison (Gostin et al., 2007). In the past, the prisoners were neglected because of the crimes they had committed. However, giving them adequate health care is a way of encouraging them that the society cares for their well-being. Thus, makes them change from their criminal activities when they get out of the prison. Furthermore, maintaining the health of the prisoners is not only good for them, but it is also necessary for the other citizens because it will prevent them from getting affected by the diseases the prisoners might have acquired. Prolonged medical care is also useful for the operation of the prison system because it reduces the burden on National Health Service (NHS) and prison service for dealing with emergencies, which they could have avoided in case the healthcare management would have been good and prolonged.

The recent reports on health care in our prison institutions indicate that little coverage is given to the prisoners. However, I think that the prisoners should have the right to extended medical care. The reason is that these people have made some horrible choices in life by taking a wrong path, but they are also human. Thus, they should have access to prolonged healthcare even if they are in prison to make them feel that, they are still needed and to prevent the spread of some diseases while in prison. Furthermore, the prisoners should receive better and prolonged healthcare because at the end, they will be released and they will come back to the community. Therefore, when they are not treated while in prison, the diseases that they were exposed to and acquired may be presented to our families and the society.

The prisoners should have prolonged care because some of them require special help. The fact that they are in prison does not mean that they are not ordinary citizens. Furthermore, if the prisoners need help in medical care, then they should access it because they are alive and they will still come back to the society. Robbing the prisoners of continued treatment is not a good thing because they are just like us. Even though they do not pay for the medical care services, it is important that we provide them with extended medical care because it is a significant human welfare need.

Although going to jail means that the rights of an individual are curtailed, I think the prisoners also have their rights. The most hardened criminal have some fundamental rights, which are protected by the constitution of the united states. Therefore, while in prison, the prisoners should receive extended medical care to help in prolonging their lives because they will soon get out of the jail. This strategy is good for the prisoners because it will make them have a healthy life even when they get out of the prison. I tend to think that most of the prisoners do not have a lifetime sentence.

Prison is a correctional facility. Thus, I think the prisoners should be given prolonged healthcare facility. The prisoners should not be denied the access to social services. Denying the prisoners access to correctional facilities will make them see that the society to be against them. Thus, will make them continue with their criminal activities even when they get out of the prison. However, when we give them prolonged health care, it may play a significant role in changing them.
