Introduction

In the process of learning, projects often become an essential part of coursework. Projects are used to test if the students grasp the skills and knowledge necessary in a given field of study. In the medical profession or nursing, projects come with lots of challenges that need to be addressed right from the theoretical coursework to the practical or research projects. The projects integrate the theoretical aspect of learning with practical approaches (Heinrich & Wakefield, n.d). The above assignment consisted of both the practical and theoretical elements, meaning that it involved testing both the practical and theoretical skills required in the medical profession. There were numerous problems while undertaking both the two aspects of the course, but due to consistency and determination, I managed to become successful at the end of the assignment. Nursing is a profession with various challenges just as there are opportunities (Mimura et al., 2009). The problems may hinder an aspiring nurse or discourage one from finishing the training hence fails to practice nursing. Some of these hindrances are real while others are just perceived. Most people have a perception that nursing is a hard and strenuous course that deserves only geniuses an argument that is baseless. While undertaking the above assignment, I learned several things that will help me in my future career.

From the above assignment, I have realized that I have skills that are required in the nursing profession. First, following the knowledge I have gained in the entire course, I have recognized that I have the skill to research various diseases that may affect the clients. From the above research, my strength lies in the ability to handle the patients under different capacity. Through managing complexities as well as challenges that come with this course, I have realized that I am a passionate person with the ability to become a nurse and that with the determination that I have towards this noble profession, I believe that I will rose to the higher levels. While undertaking the assignment, I have realized that I am an individual that cannot be easily deterred from pursuing his dreams. The nursing profession is associated with workload with minimal time to rest or spend with (Kloh et al., 2014). Therefore, with the high demands from this assignment, I am confident that I can undertake major activities required in the actual practice.

Additionally, I have learned my capability to handle or to balance both the family and work. The assignment involved balancing both the family life and the research work. As a result, although there were many challenges, I successfully complied with the demands. Finally, from the assignment, I have realized that I am an effective team leader. I was able to lead my group through the research to the completion; this also proves my leadership capability.

The success in the health career depends on the ability of an individual to undertake some of the complex research that is an essential part of learning. Successful people in the health career are those who have a grasp of the necessary skills and procedures required in the actual practice. For instances, successful nurses often have both the theoretical and practical skills in the general health service. Alternatively, through undertaking this assignment, I have realized that determination and focus are the keys to becoming a successful health care career professional (Graves et al., 2016). With the determination to acquire skills and essential knowledge, people often reach higher levels of their careers. Commitment to duties as well as the constant acquisition of skill is some of the approaches that lead to success in the health career (Bradley et al., 2012). Additionally, the experience brought about by the number of years in the field of healthcare also determines one's success. Helping people is what I enjoy the most, and after seeing the physical and emotional help nurses offer, I fell in love with this profession

With the knowledge I have acquired in school as well as the experience I gained through undertaking this research, I have obtained the basic skills that are necessary for the medical practice. In other words, I have the knowledge and skills that are essential in health care. While growing up, I used to admire nurses and the passion they have for their job. Nursing involves the study of the human body, and it comes with great opportunities. Nurses usually give up all the luxury out there and dedicate all their time to the patients under their care. My suitability to get into the profession of nursing also lies on my creativity and the ability to operate effectively during the emergencies (Wilkes et al., 2015).

In most cases, health care systems require people who can work during emergencies; this requirement therefore sits may ability as stipulated above. I believe that the knowledge I have acquired in the field of nursing makes me suitable in my career. Any passionate person with a call to become a nurse will always excel in this profession.
