Introduction

Mass immigration into the United States has been a topic for discussion for a very long period. It is a significant barrier for policymakers trying to balance the need to attract foreign talents while at the same time minimizing the risks that are associated with illegal immigration. It is estimated that over 34 million immigrants live in the united states lawfully. Each of these migrants has a specific reason that has guaranteed them to work and live in the United States after being granted permanent legal residence. On the other hand, several migrants, especially workers and students, receive temporary stay permits. Moreover, some illegal migrants enter the country by use of dubious methods, which the presidential administration is fighting, from all angles. This essay supports the current U.S immigration on deportation policies.

Firstly, for many years, there have been suggestions for shifting the national immigration structure from its current prominence on employment and family reunification migration and focus on immigrants with assured employment and education qualifications. The current Trump government has declared in the policies that green cards will be granted to immigrants based on English speaking capability, age, and education. This move will deny illegal immigrants the chance to reside in the United States. In terms of fiscal policy, there had been an alarming rise in the number of immigrants who used to take advantage of the family-based residential permit. The program allowed an individual to have a green card in case they have a child, spouse, and sibling or parents residing in the U.S. ( Key facts about U.S. immigration policies and proposed changes, 2019). For example, a single country accounts for less than 7% of the total green card issued annually. According to President Trumps legislation proposal, he clearly an categorically stated that immediate family member would be given the priority for green card allocation to minimize the so-called chain migration to one-third of the annual one million people who receive green cards. Additionally, the freezing of refugee admission in fiscal 2017 by the president, has reduced the number of rate crimes that were where mainly caused by unlawful immigrate who mostly smuggled drugs into the U.S from Mexico and Canada which are the leading countries in terms of illegal border migration. Based on the statistics, the number of refugees has decreased drastically. For instance, in fiscal 2018, the number of admitted refugees was 22,491, which was a decrease from 53,716 refugees admitted in fiscal 2017. (Trump's attacks on the legal immigration system explained, 2019).

Notably, the Trump administration would raise the number of green cards in terms of employment skills and qualification. The new policies would limit the number of immigrants who commercially invest in the U.S economy, defining the citizens from employment. However, I support the green card policies and increasing of the Democrats' wages a among other benefit listed in the immigration policy, my opinion on the president a legislative bill to block Muslims migrates from the Arabia countries from travelling to the U.S. is negative. This is was not the most appropriate way to deal with Muslim migration since it may trigger religion division among the affected countries and individual based on their ethnicity and religious beliefs. Moreover, it will lower the productivity of the American economy. (Trump's attacks on the legal immigration system explained, 2019). In conclusion, It is essential to amend various policies for the benefits American citizens and to create tremendous economic growth of while at the same time reducing the crime rates that are associated with immigration. However, presidents should avoid making racial policies.
