Techniques of change
Behavior #1:
There are some techniques that would help one to transform from the bad behavior that they currently have to be better and productive persons in the society. The techniques include the following:
Counselling
Sensitization on effects
Communication
List of self-destructive behaviors
Engaging in drug and substance abuse has got some self-destructive behaviors that would affect those individuals who engage in substance abuse. They include the following:
Engaging in illegal activities such as stealing
Engaging in unprotected sex hence contracting STDs
Dropping out of school
List of constructive behaviors
Apparently, it would be tough to identify any constructive behaviors that would arise form one engaging in substance and drug abuse as all it does to the victim is self-destruction.
Behavior #2:
Disobedience to parents is a very bad habit that needs to change through given techniques but must be critical. This kind of habit is very delicate as it spoils the relationship of parents and their children.
The techniques that would help in bringing change in this case include:
Communication with parents
Counseling and guidance
Inspiring to change and achieve greatness
List of self-destructive behaviors
Disobedience to the parents is something that will cause a lot of harm and disorganization to the victims. Below are the practices that come with such habit:
Rude arguments with parents
Failing to do tasks as assigned with parents
Sleeping out of the house without parents permission
Dropping out of school
List of constructive behaviors
Being disobedience to the parents would lead to severe consequences as students will always fight and argue with parents, cause that may result in their untimely downfall and failure.

Goal 1: To reduce my alcohol intake level and finally stop taking alcohol within the six months

I had a very specific goal which was to know the aim that I wanted to achieve. In this case, the goal is specific in that it states my objective to stop alcohol consumption at the end of the entire process.
How is your goal measurable?
My goal is outwardly measurable in that it states that I am going to start by reducing my alcohol intake and later on, I fully stop taking alcohol.
Why is this an acceptable goal?
This is an acceptable goal because it is specific in what it aims to achieve to an individual. The goal is also measurable and time-specific hence it will act as the strict map towards helping the victim quit taking alcohol.
State why you consider this goal realistic
The goal is very realistic in that it gives an outward map on the criteria through which the action of quitting alcohol will be achieved. The goal acknowledges the fact that an addict to alcohol cannot suddenly stop drinking. As such the goal states that the quitting of alcohol intake will be gradual before the victim suddenly stops drinking.
How is this goal time specific?
The goal is time specific in that it clearly shows the time at which it will take the victim to fully quit taking alcohol. In our case, the victim will take six months to do so.
Goal 2: To finally show respect to my parents by helping them with house chores in a period of 6 months
Indicate what makes your goal specific?
The specific is very specific in that it states clearly what my intentions are in regards to changing to be a better person. In this case, it indicates that I will show respect to my parents, a course I had failed miserably before.
How is your goal measurable?
Looking at this goal, it is measurable in that since the action is to show respect, it will be measured through the actions that I do such as My goal is outwardly measurable in that it states that I am going to start by reducing my alcohol intake and later on, I fully stop taking alcohol.
Why is this an acceptable goal?
This is an acceptable goal since it is specific and measurable in that it is a clear map to what the victim wants to achieve and in what time frame.
State why you consider this goal realistic
This is a realistic goal as it dictates how the victim will show respect to the parent by following their instructions and helping them with house chores.
How is this goal time specific?
The goal is time specific in that it clearly shows the time the victim will take to fully convince the parents that he has changed hence achieving the goal set which in this case is six months.
