Some of the particular research method applied in the research includes face to face interviews, online polls, telephone interviews, systematic observations, and questionnaires.
2.0 Literature Review
According to National Fire Protection Association (2007) New York Fire Department has been faced with multiple management issues due to the nature of work and poor management policies. Some of the main management issues that he mentioned were corruptions, employees turnover, and strike due to hardships faced at worked. National Fire Protection Association (2007) argue that management problems at New York Fire Department have been a significant hindrance to the development and improvement at the Department. The thoughts the first two writers are father echoed by Banauch (2006) who insisted in his work that failure of the leading figure to heed employees grievances. Additionally, Kolesar, Walker, and Hausner, (1975) believes that issues at the department are inborn. In his writings, he categorically underpinned the whole drama to the poor strategies that are used when handling management problems.
3.0 Research
Design
The research process will use direct interviews and questionnaires to root out the issues in New York Fire Department.
3.1 Procedure
Personal interviews were conducted to several employees derived from various sub-departments in the company. A total 1000 employees were interviewed 200 hundred questionnaires on issues in management were also dispersed. The whole process of data collection and compiling took three months.

The information was analyzed and the management issues given the results.

4. Discussion
New York Fire Department has always been dedicated to its mandate which is to rescue the city from the flames of fire. However, the research result has shown that the department management is currently suffering from management problems that need to be sorted out. The challenges are majorly due to poor management strategies. The issues are in the management hence overcoming them should start from the management. The issues are rising due to poor work conditions, low salary, lack of proper auditing lack of training and lack of motivation among employees The management should adopt new strategies that are all encompassing and revolutionized to enable change of circumstances in the department.
5 Recommendation
1. Improve work conditions to and avail fire gadgets to enable employees to work with harmony
2. Investigate into the corruption allegations and arrest the people involved to keep the company records clean
3. Increase staff salaries and risk allowance since this are the primary causes of strikes.
4. Introduce training programs to equip employees with revolutionized firefighting skills to combat fear that has lead to decreased workforce turnout.
