Introduction
Organizations are trying to be more productive and more productive and affecting. The main objective of many organizations is to improve technologically, raise the global awareness of their company (Brewster, Chung and Sparrow, 2016). To ensure efficiency and ensure that their goals are attainable, a firm ought to focus on the most essential assets of all its resources: human capital. Strategic human behavior is linked with ensuring that the workers within the organization, work towards achieving the objectives of the company. Therefore, strategic HRM within a firm ensures that all the workers know what they are accountable for; thus, making room for effective decision making (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart and Wright, 2017).
Application of the Learned Concepts in My Professional Experience
I will be able to apply these concepts in my professional experience as I will be able to know the principles that govern human resource management. I have been able to gain in-depth insights into some of the issues regarding the strategic management process and the ways in which the can be applied to ensure that an organization achieves its goals and objectives. I will be able to structure the workplace in a manner that ensures that they are effective in their work. I will ensure that the organization undergoes the essential elements of the strategic management process, which includes strategy implementation, situation analysis, strategy evaluation, and strategy formulation.
Steps That Can Be Applied Towards Ensuring Application of The Coursework to My Workplace
I will first ensure that the employees are treated as resources to the organization that can be efficiently managed so that the organization can access the best out of them. As a result, I will integrate the concept of employee attendance and time-tracking management; to ensure that they ensure effective commitment and engagement. I will also integrate more aspects, rather than such as acquisition, enhancement, and retention of talent within the organization.
How I Can Link What I Have Studied in This Module with What I Gained from My Previous Modules
All the modules advocate for Human Resource Management, as a way of ensuring efficiency in the management of organizations. All the modules advocate for human resource management, as a way of ensuring that employees are well-managed. There are current improvements in human resource management strategies that will help in improving the performance of the organization (Bratton and Gold, 2017. In general, Human Resource Management mainly involves workforce management, talent management, recruitment system and learning management (Cascio, 2015).
Ethical and Cultural Issues in Human Resource Management
There are new ethical cultural issues in human resource management as a result of new aspects such as globalization of business and the upsurge of increasingly large multinational organizations. Specifically, the mixing of cultures, languages, and modes of doing businesses lead to some challenges that were not in the past. Therefore, human resource managers have to be vivid in the making of decisions. Human resource managers have to bridge the gaps and ensure that the organization is working under acceptable practices and the rules and standards within every country in which a business is conducted.
Improvement of Key Skills as A Result of The Experiences with This Module
Typically, some of my key skills have improved as a result of the experiences with this module. I have improved on my time management skills as I have gained insightful information on how to do tasks within a specifically allocated time. I have also learned on report writing from practicing human resource management reports.
