Research is essential when it comes to creating an evidence-based nursing practice since it gathers and evaluates data to come up with evidence of certain diseases and provide the best care and treatment of the patients (Tavakol & Sandars 2014). In other terms, through research, a lot of evidence is collected, such as the cause, symptoms, and treatment of a certain disease.
