Introduction
Understanding the individuals who are involved during strategic planning helps the managers to plan for projects which will solve the issues being encountered by these people. The people involved helps in setting goals which are both long term and short term for them to start seeing the importance that project in their society. One should understand themselves, so that they can know how they relate with others and strategies to use so that they can win the hearts of the societal members. The individual involved can be allocated various jobs in the project since it makes them feel they are owners of the project. Through dissemination of services to the affected individuals helps oneself to understand their strengths and weaknesses. This makes them involve others who are better in particular areas hence facilitating the improvement of service dissemination (Bryson & Alston, 2011). Therefore, through understanding others and own self helps inappropriate decision making since ideas are well thought of before putting them under implementation.
Consequently, utilization of dialogue and deliberation in the creation of a meaningful process, identification of issues, developing a vision of success and developing new strategies helps people in concentrating their ideas together and scrutinizing them. Through the creation of a meaningful process, the project will not encounter various challenges which might make it not to progress and achieve their goals and objectives. The vision for success helps the management to have a focus or aim at a particular purpose within the stipulated time limit (Bryson & Alston, 2011). Solutions concerning the issues which are identified during the planning process are found before the implementation of the project. Therefore, through conversation by the stakeholders, the project is set to run smoothly since all targets, issues and the new strategies are identified hence making the project be a success.
According to Bryson and Alston (2011), the management puts together all the ideas discussed by other stakeholders, and this helps in preparation of the strategic change. The manager ensures the ideas presented will result in a positive difference in the society hence making the project a success. The management calculates the budget which is required for the implementation of the plan thus ensuring every activity runs as anticipated. Stakeholders are organized, and employees allocated different tasks which they have to complete in due time for smooth dissemination of services. Therefore, evaluation is conducted whenever there is a strategic change in the project hence knowing if the project is going towards the right direction.
