This is an intellectual movement that originated in Europe in the late 18th century. Artistic romanticism emphasized and stressed intense imagination, freedom arts from the classical forms, strong emotions and also revolution against all social perceptions. Romanticism is mostly found in literature work, music, criticism, painting and also historiography. Romanticism emphasizes the subjective, the personal, the visionary, the individual, the irrational, the imaginative and also the spontaneous. It stressed on the appreciation of the beauty of the nature and also use of color in design.

One example of a romantic film story is The Bridges of Madison County which is talks about an Italian girl, Francesca a war bride, who feel in love with a photographer. Murnau uses scores of rats that make up images of illness and death, this serve as a metaphor to indicate war horrors.

Dramatic films show the characters at their best or worst situation. They are well organized with limited emotions. In melodramatic film characters appear stereotyped and often drawn. They are characterized by excessive emotions in almost every moment of a scene. They are poorly controlled and full of exaggerations.

Features such as horrors were established using lighting when light run from one corner to the other causing fear. 15. Passenger is the film that has employed most creative techniques in its delivery. The movie is acted in the space making it more appealing to the audience. The POV is restricted hence creating suspense to the audience of what will happen moment after moment. The themes of the movie theme such as political make it more intense. There is also music that elaborates the mood of every scene.
