Introduction
The lecture ion the information system the concern the company added much of the knowledge to me as an individual. The whole process, in my opinion, can be regarded as successful since there was the deliberation of the information as expected. The talk and the lectures have had great importation of the information that can be used in managing and conducting the activities of the company in the present and can go into the future. As aimed, the lecture and the talk on the information was in a position to know the definition of post-implementation support into details, explaining the two stages as well as identifying its aspects and coming out with the management information as per the information given through the teaching seasons. Out of the module and the company guest speaker, much of the information was spoken and unleashed to the hearing of the audience.
What I Learned
From the whole process of the module teaching and the talk offered by the guest speaker, I was able to learn several new things and ideas that pertain to the management of an organization. To start with I learned that the critical sector in an organization is the communication and hence should be kept active at all times. The most vital instrument that determines the success or failure of an organization is the way the information flow within the systems and the departments of the organizations and to the public. The gathering of the data is essential as well for the organization since it is on by having the information about the how the clients and the customers regard as well as their demand is towards the organization that the company can meet their need and expectations.
However, the most crucial part in all this is the implementation of and the post-implementation of this as post support to all other primary activities that are involved in the production.
It was also awesome to know how important it is to follow up the information after the implementation of the same in the organization. Knowing that the information is developed from the simple ideas or the problems that come around was another great venture, and this brought to my attention the way of discovering information that pertains to the organization. This system as well can be applied to identify the market gaps which would in the long run results to the general growth of the organization. Again it was a lesson to learn how the information implemented can be justified by identifying the benefits of it and being in a position to describe it in details. It also taught on how to know what to prioritize on which will help the organization to concentrate on the essential projects and important ones and schedule itself well for others.
Managing the user complain is another great lesson that was so clear to my mind. Knowing that however much the organization may strive to implement the post-implementation support, there are still higher chances of the customer to complain. I learned how to deal with such complains when raised by the customers and who or which teams are responsible for responding to which kind of complaints. The knowledge of the process involved in containing the customers to have them adapt to the new changes that come by the fact of the implementation of the latest techniques which are made at times without their consultations is vital as was brought out by the module and the teaching of the guest speaker. As well I learned how to deal with the customer expectations from the organization which helps in the prediction of the market at its structures at the same time.
Changing My Mind About a Specific Topic
One of the issues that I completely changed my mind about was the fact that the flow of information determines the success of an organization. Contrary to what I had always believed that the primary production processes were most vital. Am entirely convinced that communication to the customers to explain the changes in which cases are solving their challenges and knowing their expectation the t should be met come by communication and good relation with the customers. Henceforth I made up my mind to develop communication skills that will help my career develop well and build up my profession by busting my communication skills. Again the stages of handling issues related to the public is another change that as a result of the talk and the module I changed my mind against.
Important Themes
The theme that was most important in the teaching process included; communication, the application of the information and the stages in the post-implementation, dealing with the customers' expectations and challenges and the continuity of the business. This is because these topics relate to the excellence of the organization as well as its care to the customers. The primary objective of every organization is to meet the absolute need of the customers so that the organization can contain them.
