The person that I will be teaching this motor skill is a gentleman aged 20 years, and we shall be doing our practice in the field in most of the time because we shall be using volleyball and football games for our training and teaching of the motor skill learning. The learning will be taking place mostly in the afternoon from 2:30 pm during weekdays at Kingston grounds. Not all the steps that we shall be made during our training in football and volleyball are all motor skills.

Several principles are tied together with the motor learning skill which I will make use of during our learning of the motor skill. First, the encoding specificity principle of motor learning, it posits that if an individual has an urge to play different types of a game, then he should take part in playing the game. For my case my client wants to learn how to play volleyball so on Wednesday we shall be playing football. It relies on the saying that perfectness is brought about by practice.

The second principle of motor learning is that of contextual interference principle which says that in case the student is carrying out the practice they should be moving from point to point instead of standing at one point for a long time (Werner, Peter, Thorpe, and Bunker 30). This principle may pose a threat to my learner since he was not used to it before. Motor skill help in the eye and hard coordination especially when the client is playing volleyball because he will be focusing on the moving ball and also the hands that are responsible for hitting the ball.

There are four elements that I shall apply while teaching my client this motor skill which will include paying of attention that is giving the mind room for acting, secondly, motivation I will make use of this element through the use of verbal reinforcements such as that is excellent, good and it was a tremendous move, third,I will be demonstrating the step that I want the learner to make an example if it is to serve the ball in volleyball I will show him how it is done and for the case of football I will demonstrate to him how the field is divided, how the players are distributed in the field and also their area of playing, also I will be giving improved comment to the learner who is useful in matters of enhancing the presentation mechanical skill and learning of the craft.
