The reasoning is an essential socio skill required by all who are involved in a conversation so that so as to avoid conflict between the parties. One must think of the best language to use and how to initiate a friendly conversation. Socio media give people a chance to engage in critical thinking, and this improves the communication skills. It allows people to differentiate between facts and opinions. Critical thinking gives a correct answer when a tricky question is asked. It also improves people writing immensely. People take arguments take the arguments that are sound and valid. Socio media teach people how to think apart from what they were taught in school. Socio media builds confidence in people by encouraging them to connect with other. Young people do not have the confidence to engage in a conversation. When a girl uploads a picture and the picture gets many likes the self-confidence improves.

On the other side, socio-media denies people to engage in face to face conversations that gives people the opportunity to learn body language and emotions. When talks to a person face-to-face he can be able to recognize the feelings of the other person and determine whether they are sad or happy. When people engage more in socio-media, they lack the courage to approach a friend and sincerely express the feelings. When faced with a problem the young people turn to Facebook and Twitter where they post whatever feeling they have. Instead of having close friends to share their feelings they turn to socio-media and text more and more to run away from these difficult situations. Face-to-face is essential in developing socio skills. When people engage more in socio-media, they lack the confidence to initiate a conversation with a person sitting next to them. Moreover, communication through the socio-media eliminates non-verbal cues. These non-verbal cues include facial expressions, eye contact, body language and tone variations. These cues are very important in a conversation since people can pass their message using them. People should be encouraged to stop depending on socio-media by asking them to answer questions with more than one word.

In conclusion, socio-media gives people opportunities to increase socio skills. People learn how to initiate a conversation with a stranger. They also learn how to be patient in a conversation by listening to others opinions before they intrude in a discussion. Using socio-media people learn how to think critically and reason before giving their response. This makes them give the correct response in a critical situation. Face-to-face conversation is effective since people can see body languages and emotions in a conversation. Socio media has improved people socio skills, but in some instances, it decreases people socio skills and therefore there should be a balance between socio-media and face-to-face conversation.
