Introduction
Every company has its culture that guides the hiring process, employee performance and satisfaction of the customers. All the stakeholders in a particular firm are expected to adhere to the organizational cultures that can lead to the achievement of the set objectives. Coca-Cola is among the companies that have a culture with several values that ensure that the customers are satisfied, employee performance is high and also to ensure a just hiring process. The core value in the culture of Coca-Cola Company includes passion, collaboration, quality, diversity, integrity, leadership, and accountability. The culture has positively affected the performance of the company.
Collaboration is among the components of the culture at Coca-Cola. It has led to good employee performance since it enhances teamwork among the employees and all the stakeholders. The company believes that no firm can succeed with various stakeholders working together in the accomplishment of the set goals. Collaboration also helps the company to satisfy its clients because the final product will be of high quality resulting from the joint effort of different departments ("Workplace Culture", 2018). Diversity is also a culture at Coca-Cola since it has employees from various races, countries, and religions among other differentiating factors ("Workplace Culture", 2018). Everyone can work at Coca-Cola provided he or she has the necessary qualifications and this has led to the satisfaction of the clients. Additionally, all the activities are controlled by the management to ensure that the culture of producing quality products which lead to maintenance of the current customers and also attract other potential customers.
Coca-Cola emphasizes the need for accountability for all the stakeholders. Each person working with the firm has to be responsible for his or her area to ensure that the goals are achieved ("Workplace Culture", 2018). The company calls for accountability of all the employees to ensure that they meet the set objectives because no matter the efforts put by all the other employees a single worker's irresponsibility may cause to the dissatisfaction of the customers. Also, integrity plays a major role in ensuring that all the employees perform their duties with honesty and truth. The value is also applied in the hiring process to ensure that the recruitment processes are based on merit. Furthermore, the company also advocates for the culture of passion. Anyone working in the firm should always carry out his or her roles with willingness without being driven by the need for cash since it may affect the quality of services delivered. Finally, leadership is a value that is crucial in the culture of Coca-Cola. The company trains the employees to have the ability to guide others on various issues to ensure that they are focused on the objectives of the firm. Leaders play a major role in determining the time to be taken for the goal to be accomplished and also the individual who will help in achieving them ("Workplace Culture", 2018). Therefore, Coca-Cola takes the issue of leadership very serious because it controls the future of the company.
Conclusion
Coca-Cola has an organizational culture that focuses on three areas of employee performance, just hiring process and customer satisfaction. All the three areas are meant to improve the image of the company by delivering quality products which will attract many customer and thus increased profits resulting from a lot of sales. It is important for all the employees in the company and in others to adhere to the values in the Coca Cola's organization culture for prosperity.
