I was always interested in playing mobile and PC games. Having an internship at Sundaytoz is great chance for me to learn how to manage the game company and how game company flows. My goal for the internship is to learn basic frame of the game company. There are lots of departments such as design team, service team, web team, marketing team, etc. I will see how each team work directly and learn what they do and what I need to do further to work in game related company. I also believe that conversation with users is one of the important things. When I play PC or mobile games, I always had some problems and complained thinking 'why don't they change this errors?'. By working in Sundaytoz, I can see how service team is dealing with customers.

Sundaytoz is a game company in Korea. Thus, I believe that I will able to learn lots of thing from this endeavor. In my future, I also plan to do start up. Having internship will provide me lots of ideas to establish my own business.

Expected Outcomes or Deliverables

To succeed as a game company, it is important to attract users. I will be able to learn managing events without having any loss to the enterprise. I will be able to get to deal with users' complains. Each user has its complaints. To handle those complaints, it is important to make decisions with reasonable ranges because the company cannot handle all the complaints. While thinking of how to launch events, I also need to consider reasonable rewards when users achieve the events. This internship will provide some basic idea of how to give reasonable rewards to users because excessive rewards or useless rewards will break the game balance and will make the user quit the game.

Expected outcomes are I will be able to promote satisfying events to users with reasonable rewards; as well as handing complains without giving any loss to the company.

Your role in the project

My first role in the project is to learn and understand what this game is. Sundaytoz services mobile based game called 'Anipang.' Since I have never played this game, I will need to play and learn the game. This is my primary role. Thus, I could understand users' opinions to this game and can agree or disagree with them.

My second role is to track the game users. Since I will be working in promoting events to users, I should track which users achieved the quest for the game. I should be able to figure out who deserves the reward for quest or not. When finding out who deserves the award, then I need to log into the 'admin control panel' (ACP) of 'Anipang,' and give rewards to players.

My third role is to create and provide opinion on unique costumes and items for game characters. It is important to create costumes and articles for both company's sales and users. Users will purchase items and clothes. As a result, the company will make a profit by selling clothes and items.

Tools and facilities to be used

I will be using MySQL since I need to track how many users and players achieved event quests and who deserves for quest reward items. I need to learn how to use ACP for the game service. After tracking down who deserves event items, I should give reward items to users. Thus, I have to learn ACP for the match which is whole new facilities that I have never taught at Indiana University.

In addition to MySQL and ACP, I also need to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator. One of my roles is to create and provide opinions on making unique costumes and items for game characters. By learning how to use Adobe Illustrator, I will be able to create costumes and items.

Approximate schedule of the project

My rough calendar of the project is eight weeks. From May 8th to June 30th.

I will work at the main office of the company from May 8th to June 30th.

I will work 45 hours per week. Thus, the total working time might be 360+ hours
