Introduction

It is essential to Improve the MS access to increase the performance, speed, and efficiency of the database. The administrator can interact with an improved MS access in a more straightforward manner and gain access to further information than a complex and less detailed MS access database (Hogan, 2018). There are many aspects to consider when having a database that would be effective, simplest, organized, and detailed. These aspects include access version used, table organisations, speed matters, table relationships, client-server/administrator interaction, and table linking. The MS access has a primary form of navigation, which is interactive and links which make it possible to select a movie and its genre with easy. However, there are issues which lower the speed of the database, reduce interaction, and multi-user performance. Further, there are other aspects and specification of the MS database that can be incorporated into the database.

Speed Improvement

Speed is a crucial element in every database; some website is slow when the client is searching for material via the front-end because the database is built with complexities. Tables modification is one way of increasing the speed of MS access database. Tables in the provided MS access lacks secondary indexes, which is essential in speeding up data accessibility (Hogan, 2018). A simple secondary index to use in the table is the use of numerical data where the first customers can be given the index 0, then 1 for the second and to the last customer. Utilising the cache memory in MS access is also an important consideration to add in the MS access. To maximize cache effectiveness, the administrator may opt to use the recordsets the external SQL database by utilizing another coding environment and then use CacheEnd or Cache Start (Phan, 2018).

Communication and Restructuring

Communication is one aspect that needs to be added in the database to facilitate communication between the client and the administrators. MS access enables clients to send emails and other PDF documents. Total MS Access emailer is an excellent program that can be used to send materials and messages by the client and the administrators. A client or the administrator may need to send an invoice or another related message. Tables in the provided MS access can be made in a subquery manner where the access paths work in nested subqueries. However, where calculations are the necessary joining of subqueries is not advisable. Several of the participants made in the MS is perfect, including the fields inserted. However, the database needs to be sorted in A-Z alphabetical order to organize the database (Lomet et al., 2019).

Maximizing Storage

The MS access provided has used much graphics in the media library and the main menu. Too much graphics in the MS access reduce the storage of the entire database (Phan, 2018). Besides, graphics reduces the performance of the database in terms of interactivity and accessibility.

Conclusion

Conclusively, several aspects that need adjustment in the database are provided as tools in MS access. For instance, filtering records and sorting of customer data is provided by Microsoft. Other issues need to be added; some of these issues require an external program to enhance the performance of the existing program. Communication can be an essential consideration to include in the MS Access database.
