Family History and Geographical Background.
She is impossible to define; A daughter, a friend and a soldier known for her bubbly personality and sense of fashion. Lofton was born August 9, 1992, in Tampa, Florida. Lofton was born to the parents of Vernadine and Carlton Lofton. Who recently just celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary. Vernadine Lofton was born in Orlando Florida in 1963. Carlton was born in Georgia in 1955. Lofton has three half-brothers, two whole brothers, and one-half sister. Lofton is the second youngest. Lofton followed in her father's footsteps and joined the Army. He worked as an 88M, Motor Transport Operator. He served four years then got out and worked construction for the City of Tampa.
Military and Civilian Educational Background.
Lofton attended West Tampa Elementary school. Lofton attended Roland Park k-8th Magnet School up until her 8th-grade year. She then transferred to Madison Middle school. Lofton attended Thomas Jefferson high school from 9th grade thru 12th grade. In high school, Capri was a part of the Student Government Advisory. She held meetings with other advisories and discussed ways to better the education system. She planned pep rallies. She helped set up and prepare the football field for all home games at the school. She would use a stencil shaped like a dragon and paint it on the football field. Dragons were the school's mascot. She was responsible for planning all aspects of the homecoming dance and spirit week. During her senior year, Capri was a part of the Senior Class Council. She was awarded the position historian. She was a photographer, filmmaker, and a researcher. She compiled a scrapbook from year end keepsakes that club members can look back on. After high school, Capri did not go straight to college.
Personal Interests and Hobbies.
During Lofton's free time she loves to take a picture and practice makeup and fashion. Lofton is a big you tuber and has YouTube channel. Her love for photos has not unabated since high school. Capri owns two digital cameras and an iPhone just for superb selfies. She has a love for fashion also! Fashion helps her to achieve strength, confidence, joy and of course, head turning personal style! A lot of her inspirations come from fashion blogs like kingkartier88.
Military Assignments and Service plus Civilian Work History in the Past and Future.
Lofton got her first job in 2009 working as a cashier at McDonald's, but she did not make a career out of it. In 2011 Lofton quit Mcdonalds and joined the worlds greatest Army. She attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina from May-July 2011. Upon graduation she preceded on to Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, Georgia; where she was awarded the primary Military Occupational Specialty of 25B10, Information Technology Specialist from July 2011 to January 2012. In 2012 Lofton earned her Information Management Officer and Comptia Security Plus Certification making her a DoD 8750 Compliant. She also completed the Combat Life Saver Coarse in 2012. In 2013 she earned her Milstar Command Post Terminal Operator Certificate. Furthermore, she attended Warrior Leaders Course from March 2014 to April 2014. In 2015 Lofton became Black Belt, and Green Belt Six Sigma certified. In 2016 Capri became a Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT). In 2016 she also received her Certified Information Systems Security Professional certificate. Loftons first duty assignment was with 169th Signal Company in Dageu, South Korea where she worked in the Local Control Center as a system administrator from January 2012-2013. While stationed there she was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for her outstanding performance in physical fitness, and two battalion coins for her participation and excellence during theater-wide exercises Key Resolve XII and Ulchi Freedom Guardian 2012. In February 2013, Lofton was assigned to the 587th Signal Company in Stuttgart, Germany where she worked in the Joint Nuclear Operations Center as a Milstar Operator Maintainer. Lofton was then assigned to USARCENT Third Army at Shaw Air Force Base in 2015 where she worked as an Information Systems NCO. While in ARCENT G6, she deployed to Camp Arijian, Kuwait from July 2015 to April 2016. While in Kuwait Capri worked in the Combined Joint Task Force for Operation Inherit Resolve and as a help desk technician for Army Central Command G6. Loftons awards include two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, three Overseas Service Ribbons, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, and a Certificate of Achievement.
Superiority between job position and experience plus the reasons for the choice.
On December 1, 2016 Lofton recently got promoted to Sergeant. Even though she is in a much higher role than her peers and is taking on more reasonability, the newly promoted non-commissioned officer remains humble and seeks out to gain as much experience from those both higher ranking and lower enlisted. She believes that knowing your job and having job experience is a better way to stand out to potential employers rather being in a higher position. Sergeant Lofton once said You cant be in a position to train if you dont know the job job experience is better because it will open up more opportunities for you.
Reasons for eyeing the position of a CI Special Agent.
In 2017 Capri Lofton decided to shift gears from the IT world and pursue a career in Counterintelligence. She found the proposed job intriguing and something that she would be interested in. During an interview when asked why she wanted to be a Counterintelligence Agent she replied, "I'm excited about joining a team that is on the cutting edge of research to exploit threats to national security. She believed that this job would help her to take on another level of responsibility in her career.
Skills brought into the CI.
Ms. Lofton looks forward to applying her experience from the IT world to the counterintelligence field by dealing with cyber intelligence. Her intellect with trouble shooting computers and how to find solutions will have a great impact on her ability to detect and identify when there is a problem or threat. She will bring dedication and a drive to succeed to in the Counterintelligence Field. Due to her dedication and loyalty, she will put forth maximum effort towards contributing to any mission. Loftons strongest attribute is passion. She believed that without a strong passion for what you are doing, it is not possible to ideally perform your job. Lofton has a strong desire to help assess and exploit terrorist threats to national security, which is what led her to apply for a position as a CI agent. Neutralizing the foreign intelligence and security services is a key value to Ms. Lofton. Lofton's unique attribute is her determination. She will take on every challenge head-on and do what she needs to accomplish the mission, even when the challenge is difficult. Every time Lofton is given a new challenge, whether it was last minute Sergeants Time Training or giving company Physical Training (PT), she always enjoyed stepping up and demonstrating her skills at any task.
Activities to perform after the military or civilian service.
After successful service to her country, Ms. Lofton has a desire to create her skin care products. She wants to use only natural ingredients only. For example, Vitamin E, Shea butter, and coconut oil. She wants to pursue a career in making her body fragrances, body butter, body wash and candles. Lofton has a fetish for soft baby skin and delightful fragrances. Eventually, desires to open up her store and sell her products worldwide.
Three strengths and weaknesses plus reasons for the same.
Strengths:
The ability to think on things positive when in a negative environment or situation. When life troubles Lofton, she refuses to get defeated by negative thoughts. Changing her mindset for good creates a feeling of joy inside of her. Lofton lives by this Bible verse "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Philippians 4:8.
Lofton is Self-motivated and determined: Lofton would not be as successful as she is today if it was not for her self-motivation and determination to achieve all of her goals in life. Without self-motivation, it is entirely possible that even the best soldiers will languish in the unit without achieving any success.
Teamwork: There is no "I" in "Team." Lofton loves working as a team. She believes that teamwork is an essential part of an efficient workplace. An efficient team can be trained as a group, and that is why Lofton loves working as a team, she enjoys helping others maximize their job performance and making a productive atmosphere for team members.
Weaknesses:
Impatience: Sometimes I would just give a person the answer to a question or situation instead of showing them how to do the task. I would just do it myself to get it over with.
Being too sensitive: Thinking with my heart rather than my head. Take things personally.
Nervous in public: It takes me some time to feel at home when I get around a new crowd of people. I get nervous when I have to speak in public.
What are the situations you thrive in and why?
Having a perspective for myself which includes learning that it is not the end of the world if I get yelled at by the boss. If there is merit in my boss's viewpoint for yelling at me, I try to sit back and listen and improve on myself and my work. I try not to let being yelled at hindering me from having a productive day and destroying my morale.
Resilience, which include my ability to bounce back after a traumatic experience in my life. I have the potential to thrive in stressful situations and under pressure. I've learned in life that when I increased my resilience, I was able to able more and enjoy career success.

a. What are your prejudices?
I feel so negative about self centeredness. Those who are self-centered are always self minded and are thus hindrance of growth.
b. What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is when my parents die.
c. What was your most embarrassing moment?
During my first time as a soldier in the Month Board in South Korea, and it was time when I had to report to the President of the Board, I was so nervous that I could not pronounce my name.
d. What situations make you uncomfortable and why?
I fear conversations about racial issues because I feel like we are all equal no matter what skin color we are.
e. When was the last time you told a lie and why did you tell it?
I had to lie to a friend about my location, just the other week. I was very busy doing a research about some classified activity and I never wanted to be interrupted. She felt bad but I had to turn her down.
f. If you could change one thing in your past, what would it be and why?
I would change my relationship with my brothers. We are all years apart in age, so none of us are close or have anything in common. My youngest brother is 19, and the old brother is in his mid-40s.
g. In your opinion, at an UNCLASSIFIED level, discuss which country is the greatest threat to our National Security and why?
We can talk of China and Russia, but Russia has posed more threat to our national security by portraying that it does not respect the sovereignty of our state and other states as well. the actions of the country are undermining regional via proxy forces.
