There many ways in which a grand manager can act aggressively. First and most important, the grand manger ought to admit the fault as well as let the grantor know about the situation early enough. Most noteworthy, the embarrassing error should be solved within the shortest time possible because this might interfere with the organization's reputations. For instance, if the money was mixed with other sources, the manager should withdraw the money from that mix-up and save on a bank account, solely for that particular project purpose (Ward, 2010). Similarly, the grant manager must explain why he/she choose to do. It will be of great importance to apologize to the grantor following the misappropriation of finds. After notifying the grantor about the error, it is of great significance to ask him/her to recommend ways can be the best for solving such a problem. Most noteworthy, it is always advisable to grant manager to do as the grantor requests so as keep the relationship (Ward, 2010).
For instance, if the grantor requests that the money should be refunded, the grand manger should, by all means, return the money within a short time. Moreover, the grantees should remain honest when writing a grant proposal. This is the critical aspect is avoiding the error especially for the case where the fund is applied for other projects other the one to which the grantor is aware of. This involves writing a grant proposal with realistic as well as achievable objectives (Ward, 2010). Besides, the budget should be based on reality and not speculations. Also, it is recommendable for grant-seekers to report the project results to the grantor irrespective whether they are negative or positive. That is to say; the project results should be changed in the evaluation and programmatic reports for the expense of making the project look more successful than is. Last but most important, the grant-seekers are advised not to accept funds that do not match with initial objectives as outlined in the grant proposal.

Grant manager is responsible for the management of grants. Grants management includes planning as well as the implementation of grant schedules. Audits with fewer errors signify that the funds from grantors have been used correctly. Audits of non-profit institutions, states as well as the local government set canons that guarantee consistency as well as uniformity for a review of grantees among the federal agents. This is mostly applicable to public grantors, especially from the federal governments (Ward, 2010).
