Trump inaugural address is ethos as Trumps intention is to appreciate the trust that the Native Americans had shown in selecting him as the president of the most powerful nation in the world. This credibility was seen as Americans citizens preferred Trump to Clinton as they placed their belief in his ability to lead the US to attain its goals and keep growing. The people believe his virtue, morals, and intelligence are consistent with Americas vision.

Trump took the kairos to share his goals and intentions that he has for the country. It was the opportune time during the inauguration because it would set the pace of how he would like to lead the nation. By sharing his desire to bring reforms in almost all the sectors of the economy, he allows the people have a focus from the start of his term to the end. For instance, he pointed out his intentions to make the United States the strongest nation economically in the world utilizing various strategies.

Trump's ideology is to persuade and convince the American people on what he will attain and where he intends to take the country and in a way encourages the citizens to walk along with him. He uses logos to bring out claims with evidence and what he intends to do to bring lasting solutions to the challenges experienced by the people (Peyton, 2017).

President Trumps attitude to the audience and the subject is positive and expressed with love and commitment. He pledges allegiance to the people by assuring them that he serve them with every ounce of his strength. He calls them to solidarity and patriotism no matter what. He uses pathos to encourage the Americans that even through the disagreements which may be inevitable, he will remain committed to the reason he was elected as the president to make America greater again. He states that on the face value, America looks great and strong because of helping others become better, eradicating poverty and suffering as well as protecting the borders of other countries at the expense of America. However, his intention is to make America great once again by prioritizing people and placing the needs of the Americans primary and the rest of the world secondary.

He provokes the minds of the citizens by bringing out key issues that leave the audience pondering and evaluating. For instance, he uses metaphor to compare the American factories as forgotten tombstones which are gaining rust because of neglect. He alludes to the fact that while American wealth has been distributed among a few politicians, he intends to do a redistribution of wealth by ensuring people participate in wealth creation as well as enjoy the benefits. He provides a sharp contrast to how things are currently and how he intends to make them immediately he is sworn in. He brings out the as an aspect of the fact that the people who bear the greatest economic cost are the poorest in the United States which form the majority and things should not be that way.

He guarantees the people of America of security, safety, and protection in the country thus no fear of anything (Quigley, Burns, and Stallard pp. 108 -117). The devout military men and women will do their work faithfully as well as he is assured that God, the creator will protect America and it will grow to prosperity. Security plays a fundamental role in the economic development of a country, and that is why he intends to blot out the radicalized Muslim terrorist groups from the phase of the earth. Such a bold step that has not been possible in most countries globally.

However, on his speech, he suggests that other nations like China and Mexico are considered as the reason America is not great again. He suggests that he will deport all the immigrants. For instance, he states that he would impose tariffs on goods imported from China and Mexico. According to this ideology, it will make the local industries better. Nonetheless, these tariffs will affect the economic status of US in more ways than Trump may be able to handle. It will affect international trade and balance of payment. Imposing tariffs on commodities from China and Mexico will result in increased cost of acquiring these products. This change will increase the demand for local products similar to those imported thus strengthening the economy. On the other hand, for those products not available in the US, low-income earners will not be able to afford them leading to financial constraints should they decide to purchase. Additionally, there is a possibility that China and Mexico will also place trade barriers to the imports from the US. In the end, trade will be affected, and the economy might shrink.

Additionally, he alludes to the fact that America is not great as a result of the immigrants and as such there is an immigration plan to deport them. The immigration policy of Trump is likely to harm the country big time. It is an expensive venture, and which to some extent bring the developed country under the yoke of discrimination and racism. Additionally, according to the American Action Forum (pp. 1), the implementation of this suggested law by Trump will cost the federal government about $500 billion of the taxpayers money. Moreover, this plan is estimated to reduce the labor force by 11 million employees as well as lessen the GDP by $1.6 trillion and will take about twenty years to complete. Immigration forms a significant source of the US economic vitality and implementing that plan will harm both demand and supply as suggested by Winders, (pp.292). Economically, such a decision is not sustainable, and those funds would be used in the development of the country. In this time of globalization, immigration is expected in any country, and Trump should devise ways and means of enhancing the immigration process.

In conclusion, Americans seemed convinced of his standpoint of boosting the economic status of America as his businesses have grown over time because of implementing some of the strategies he will use to grow Americas economy. In essence, he is calling America to nation unity so that attaining the well-being and mission of the country will be possible. His speech has wells selected words which convey the intended message in an excellent manner. Nonetheless, the immigrants felt despised and not considered as important individuals in the welfare in the United States.
