This article maps the differences that exist between two templates that organize for healthcare delivery. There are numerous system changes and underlying values that have to take place during the transitioning from one template to the other. There are mechanisms actors that bring about the change and they include the commitment of the stakeholders and how much they are willing to change a dysfunctional template, provision of viable leadership, change in the manner in which resources are used as well as manipulating the incentive programs. There are many micro change processes that form the basis for the wider radical changes, and these micro changes have their unique track consistent with constraining and enabling mechanisms. A change may have some drawbacks during the time of implementation, and the challenges include factors like lack of strategy on how to align the incentives with the expected results in the changes (Chreim, Williams & Coller, 2012)

Article 2: Working Toward Effective Change in Healthcare

Healthcare environment has been known over the years to be complex and hard to manage. The changes which have been experienced in the healthcare system have affected sectors like professional relation, the systems of payment used, service delivery system, the expectations that the public has as well as the new and advanced technology used. Several attempts to reinvent the healthcare system in America have been put forward by many people including Davies and Gillies. However, the changes that have been attempted have constantly faced a lot of barriers which include performance diminish in several healthcare sectors, a decrease in the general public health metrics as well as countless disparities in the whole of the healthcare system in America. The healthcare information which has been published by the various medical specialists should be implemented by the US government so as to establish the required changes in the healthcare system (Hernandez & Shewchuk, 1995).

Article 3: Practical Techniques for Strategic Planning in Health Care Organizations

Healthcare organizations require organizational strategies which provide a long-term road map for the entire organization future goals and executive tactics. Most of the cases are when the strategic statements have been considered ritualistic, yet the relevant executives have been allocating a lot of resources in the whole process. Adopting strategic plan in the healthcare system is essential since it helps in identifying the future goals, show how the results should be as well as the essential strategic decision guidelines to reach the desired change outcomes. Team building is essentially important for the realization of the future changes and actions, and all these is clearly spelled out in the strategic planning process. The ultimate goals of healthcare changes are to improve the market, community engagement and production in general, hence a strategic plan which is well laid out can be the solution needed for the realization of all these positive changes in the healthcare sector (Varkey & Bennet, 2010).

All the three articles reviewed above clearly indicate that there is quite a big problem that has been pulling down the healthcare in America. The challenges have been in existence or a long time and they have been the reason or the poor performance in the health sector. However, for the challenges to be overcome and meaningful changes implemented, there need to be established strategies which can help achieve all these changes. Strategic planning, selection of the appropriate leaders, proper allocation of the resources available and meaningful incentive utilization strategies should be given the first priority. There need to be laid an appropriate foundation which helps in the realization of the desired changes in the general healthcare system in the US.
