Disney is one of the leading examples of cultural imperialism because its animated cartoons, films, and products are critical components of raising children. Notably, Disney movies are watched by adults and children across the world. Millions of households across the world also have Disney products including toy, clothes or movies. For instance, In Florida, Disney parks are the major attraction sites. With Disney products being bought by individuals from different parts of the world, it brings the western imperialistic and perception. Further, Disney movies have certain imperialism whether it is political, economic, cultural, or military. For instance, Pocahontas is a stereotypical American aspect of the native life that describes cultural perspectives of the US. The military movies of Disney such as Star Wars and Mulan describe cultural imperialism of US as the leading military power across the world.

Disney has developed a strong and vibrant network that globalized the world. This has enabled it to effectively reach out the world and spread its ideology. Disney has numerous creations within the film sector, publications, and entertainment that suggest that its thoughts are vibrant. In this manner, a particular culture is nurtured in the civilization that shapes the manner in which children view life in the global arena. Disney products are also available to millions of people across the world and this increases its ability to increase across the world.

Disney has proved that it is very entertaining and at the same time shapes desires of children. The philosophy that Disney carries provides a young generation with a promise of turning their dreams into reality. Everyone appreciates the fact that adolescents and children set his or her goals in life based on what he or she hears, watch and do every day. Disney offers a great platform for adverts, films, and cultural production. It also views teens as one of the leading cultural assets whose value supplements the private and commercial terms. Therefore, it makes every initiative to offer institutional capital required for the development and growth in the formulation of policy and socio-economic unfairness that restrict their capability (Mirrlees, 2013).

By critically looking at person individuals who interact with values, messages, ideas, and products of Disney, it is no doubt that Disney has a significant effect in transforming the culture of the US. Many people across the globe watch Disney movies; listen to music and visit Disney theme park. In fact, Disney is successful in the entertainment and social platforms thus shape the organization and structure of the modern American society and the whole world. Disney is the reflection of the values of the middle class who happened to be the leading population in the US (Mills, 1990). In this manner, Disney has succeeded in reconciling culture in people's lives. It has not only recognized the role of technology but also advanced its ideologies.

Disney has created contemporary US imperialism through high-profit margins, expansion, and cultural imperialists. For the entertainment, Disney utilizes technology to overrule globally. For instance, it began with Walt Disney in 1923 where he created a character known as Mortimer mouse. However, because of the advice from his wife, he quickly changed the name to Mickey and also changed his voice thereby creating the first ever sound cartoon. Principally, Mickey Mouse was designed to signify the dark years of American depression.
